Aline Daoud is the Managing Partner at the Blockchain Research Institute – Middle East and the Managing Director of Konnect & Co, a supply chain management company focused on construction and hospitality operating in the GCC, MENA Region, and Europe.

Aline is a Civil and environment Engineer, a seasoned entrepreneur with a track record of successfully conceptualizing, launching, and scaling multiple businesses across various industries. Over the course of her career, she has consistently demonstrated the ability to identify lucrative opportunities, assemble talented teams, and support the journey of the companies’ growth. As an ardent advocate of women’s empowerment in both the Construction and Tech industries, Aline fervently supports her encouragement through forming and leading in women-led enterprises – a feature that has been awarded multiple times so far in her markets of operations.

At the Blockchain Research Institute Middle East, Aline leads the departments of Tech Education, Strategy and Consultancy, Project Management Implementation, and Events Execution. In less than a year, she endorsed the expansion of BRI-ME to multiple countries including KSA, Qatar, UAE, Turkey, Egypt, and Oman. Aline has devoted her efforts to promoting the knowledge and adoption of Blockchain technology in the MENA region. With a focus on collaboration between governmental and private sectors, she has tirelessly worked to bridge the gap and foster a deep understanding of the best practices in embracing these technological advancements.

Aline holds a BS degree in Civil and Environmental Engineering from the American University of Beirut (2011), is currently an EMBA student at Oxford University, and earned several certificates such as “The Blockchain Revolution” from Insead & The Blockchain Research Institute (2020); “The Entrepreneurial Mindset” from The Babson University (2020) and Supply Chain Finance and Blockchain Technology from the New York Institute of Finance (2020).
