Prof. Mazen El-Masri is an Associate Professor of Information Systems at the department of Accounting and Information Systems of the college of Business and Economics at Qatar University. He obtained his Ph.D. in Management Information Systems from HEC Montréal, Canada. His current research focuses on blockchain, fintech, bigdata analytics, machine learning, social media and design. He is the program director of the Fintech clusters program funded by Qatar National Research Fund. His research appears in top journals such as Information Systems Frontiers, information processing and management, IT and People, Communications of the Association for Information Systems, Information, Communication & Society, Journal of Enterprise Information Management, Educational Technology Research and Development among others.
